Ace Frehley’s autobiography set for November 1
Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley is set to put out his autobiography on November 1. The "Rock and Roll memoir" titled No Regrets had originally been scheduled for this Summer and is said to be "a funny, truthful, candid memoir about a hard-drinking, drug-addicted, music-loving guitar player who lived life as a rock star and survived to tell the tale". The book, written by Joe Layden and John Ostrosky, is to be published by Gallery Books, an imprint of the London based Simon & Schuster, under the VH1 Books imprint.
No Regrets goes behind the make-up, the money, the women and the partying. KISS' original guitarist recounts his battles with drug addiction and his brushes with death, sets the record straight about his complicated relationships with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley and describes his evolution as a musician. All with his characteristic humor and honesty. Needless to say, Ace Frehley's autobiography is a must-have for every KISS fan.
