KISS plays Arnhem; Gene Simmons tours Amsterdam
Last night, KISS played at Gelredome XS (the small version of the soccer stadium) in Arnhem, Holland. The band played no less than 2 hours and 15 minutes, including their great rendition of Beth, short bits of Forever, Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love and The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again plus a very subtle Mott The Hoople snippet. (Update: check out this interesting review on the site of free Dutch newspaper Spits, in which the Sonic Boom tour is called the KISS Alive 35 tour…)
The night before, Gene Simmons – along with his longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed – did a sightseeing tour of Amsterdam (see pictures), which included a visit at the famous Anne Frank house. For a short video, please click here.
